Being Whole is a constant and consistent journey: Moving, listening, trying to see through the fog…sensing the drift…realigning
— JUNE 21, 2025
Day: 30 of 63 (Round 3, at this 41 days now…)
There’s something I’ve come to believe deeply—being whole isn’t optional if we want to live well. And being whole is not a one time thing. It’s a lifelong journey. And, it requires consistent attention to the whole being…
That’s why my challenge—this 63-day commitment—requires these three action steps every single day:
→ One for the body
→ One for the mind and emotions
→ One for the soul and spirit
Why?
Because energy without wisdom is chaos.
Because dreams without a healthy vessel collapse.
Because a strong body without purpose is just decoration.
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit…? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19–20
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about alignment.
I’ve experienced what happens when one of these parts gets neglected—when the soul is reaching, but the body is breaking. When the mind is filled with ideas, but the emotions are overwhelmed.
Eventually, that misalignment starts dragging everything else down.
That’s what happened to me.
My heart was in the right place.
My soul was on fire with purpose.
But my body… my energy… my capacity to show up… it was fading.
And it started whispering lies:
“You’re too tired.”
“You’ll never keep up.”
“Maybe this is too much for you.”
But here’s the truth:
“Discipline equals freedom.” — Jocko Willink
When I began to take my body seriously again—moving, nourishing, hydrating, resting—something really interesting happened.
Life started pouring back in.
Joy returned.
Clarity returned.
Zest returned.
And most of all?
I started keeping my promises to myself again.
That one shift—the courage to make a promise, and the integrity to follow through—began to rebuild me.
And now, as I sit here writing this, one of the goals I set at the start of this 63-day challenge has been met.
But here’s what’s wild:
The goal wasn’t the peak.
It was just a lookout.
Because from here?
I can see new mountaintops.
New dreams I couldn’t even see before I started climbing.
And the last thing I want to do is stop because I “checked a box.”
“The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more.” — Jonas Salk

📖 One of the new dreams I couldn’t see before I started climbing are these TruthPulses.
The messages I share almost every day—the scriptures, the thoughts, the personal alignment check—they don’t come from a random thought or a social trend.
They actually come from using my planner/journal,
a planner I created years ago to help me stay anchored on and off the stage.
When I made that space part of my 63-day challenge—
not just as a tool, but as a daily tap-in with the Lord—
something opened.
That little box at the top of the page, the one that prompts me to reflect on the mission, message, and scripture for the day…
became the birthplace of what you are reading.
It’s where I ask: God, what are You speaking to me today?
And that question—asked in faith, with expectation—has now become the heartbeat of my personal journey doing this challenge.
The truth that comes nourishes me deeply… and then spills out because I know it’s not just for me.
This daily check-in has been the secret weapon behind my current 30-day streak.
I actually started this journey 41 days ago but had to restart-3 times.
And the reason I’ve kept going now is because I return to that sacred space each day. (Nope, I wasn’t using it at first.)
It grounds me.
It reminds me.
It breathes life into every other step I take.
In fact, I adapted part of that original planner into a Challenge Tracker page, which I now offer for free to anyone who signs up.
It’s exciting to wonder where this could go, who it could touch, why am I being compelled to do it? The adventure has begun—
Thank you for reading this and this sharing the path.
🌀 A FINAL REFLECTION
When I felt myself start to drift again—
Back toward fog
Back toward fatigue
Back toward the comfort of letting go just a little…
I caught it. Thank goodness! What if I hadn’t?!
Drift doesn’t need permission.
You don’t need to choose to go downstream—the current will just take you if you don’t resist.
That’s entropy.
That’s how life dissolves when we stop deciding.
“You don’t drift to the top of a mountain. You climb.” — John Maxwell
This life I’m building… the one I know I’m called to…
It takes all of me.
And every time I choose alignment in body, mind, and soul—
I get more life in return.
(My challenge helped me get back on course. Maybe it can help you too.)
🛠️ WALK IT OUT:
Here’s how we can bring the TruthPulse into action today:
1. BODY – Support the vessel
Move with love. Choose a 30–45 min walk, strength session, or stretch routine. Hydrate with intention—add minerals, lemon, or pink salt. Nourish with a meal that aligns with how you want to feel.
2. MIND + EMOTIONS – Tend the inner terrain
Journal in your My Daily Warm-Up planner or challenge tracker. Use the Mission + Message box to check in honestly. Name any emotions dragging your energy today. Ask: What do they need to release or integrate? Option: Use Alignment Tapping or a short emotional release technique.
3. SOUL + SPIRIT – Stay anchored
Ask God: “What truth do You want me to carry today?” Write your own TruthPulse—even if short—in your planner. Speak today’s affirmation aloud. Optional: Share your pulse if prompted. Obedience is release.
Oohh!….Sit with that for a moment.
Obedience isn’t just about rules—it’s about honoring boundaries.
Your own.
God’s.
It’s a form of surrender, yes—
but not passive surrender.
It’s an act of deep respect.
It’s how trust is built.
Real trust—the kind you’ll never find by constantly breaking the promises you make to yourself.
When you act from that place—from surrendered obedience—
you stop forcing, and start flowing.
And that’s where the greatest things begin to happen.
In flow.
In alignment.
In integrity.
So release today—by being obedient.
Keep the promise.
Honor the boundary.
Step into the flow.
Discipline is destiny.
(It’s not just a truth—it’s also a great book by Ryan Holiday.)
đź’¬ AFFIRMATION
“I honor my body, mind, and soul with every step I take. I will not delay what God has already anointed. I trust His timing more than my polish.”
(Repeat aloud. Once slowly. Once with power. Once with joy.)
🎧 SONG SUGGESTION
These lyrics hit:

(Play as you move, write, or rest. Let it wash the fog off.)
đź“– CONSIDER
“You don’t drift to the top of a mountain. You climb.” — John Maxwell
Drift doesn’t require disobedience. Just inattention.
What area have you let drift—because it felt easier than climbing?
What would shift today if you chose one firm step in that direction?
